THE MIRROR PALACE
That’s the literal translation of this name. Baiganpalli is a small but thriving village in andhrapradesh, a south indian state. This is the panoramic shot of the mirror palace. Some historic time ago, the walls here were covered with mirrors. They eventually started to break, small cracks here and there that later lead to some major damage and incidents of people getting cuts accidentally. So they had to tear all the mirrors down. But even then it’s still called the ainak mahal.
Smart phones these days are evolving in leaps and bounds. One of the major advancements are in the field of photography. They have already embedded so many neat photography functions in smartphones. If they ever come up with ways of achieving those intricate DSLR functions, DSLR’s may die. But probably DSLR’s will evolve even further. But who knows. Anyway, before I digress further, I shot this with my Xperia Z using the panorama sweep mode. Then did my usual black and white processing on nik silver efex.
